Team Rider: Brent Rasby

I remember the first time entering the water in a Seventhwave 4/3 Max mid winter. The custom snug fit, personalised colour choices and the softness of the rubber. All added to the epicness of that moment. Then the longer extension of my surf, from having an increased body temperature and coming in warm. Sealed the deal, I was impressed from then on. And happily pay the full price for the quality you receive.
In what seems like a previous life. I've gained some success in a mixture of competitive surfing disciplines Raglan pro am open shortboard win/ National Longboard title/NZ Big Wave competition win. I competed on the European leg of the WQS, to get a taste of the international tour. Returning home broke with a good dose of the reality of becoming a tour surfer. I turned my attention to a career as a ICU/CCU nurse. 
These days my surfing is Gisborne based, with the odd trip overseas. Living with my greatest achievement Perle and Dune my two daughters and my wife Helena.
